Consolidating multiple email accounts

Any messages in an inbox shows up in both the root of the unified Inbox, plus the child folder of the unified Inbox for that account.

You can consolidate retirement accounts by transferring money from multiple accounts into one established IRA account (or into a new IRA you open). Here are seven reasons to consolidate your IRAs and other retirement accounts. The KB article I found above it a bit old but still holds correct information about the functionality of the 'Unified Folders'. Then select the mail account you want to download into Global Inbox. If you are just trying to combine the Inbox only and leave the rest as is, it does not look like it can be done but extensions can be made in the future to have this feature in Thunderbird. Then select "Server Settings" menu branch, then at the very bottom in the "Message storage" area, opposite "empty trash on exit" is an "Advanced" tab, and hey presto! This is different from the Unified Folders option, where you may end up switching between two different folder views. For example, if you have an expense worksheet for each of your regional offices, you might use consolidation to roll these figures into a master corporate expense worksheet. This master worksheet might also contain sales totals and averages, current inventory levels, and highest selling products for the entire enterprise.Once you retire you'll need to figure out how to structure your investments so you get a monthly (or bi-weekly) "paycheck" from your account.
